HOW MUCH TIME WILL HIP CAMP™ TAKE?
Ideally, 10-15 minutes a day. Everything will be recorded so you can decide what works best for you. We know you're busy. We aim to teach you how to do stretch-care and recovery in the least amount of time possible (2-15 minutes) but with results that make a difference in your posture and energy. We'll show you simple self- care stretches & mini moves to help your body feel more energy, ease, and flow each day. It all adds up. Remember you have access for a lifetime.
DO I GET ACCESS TO ALL THE VIDEOS AT ONCE?
Yes, HIP CAMP will be delivered to your email inbox beginning the first Monday after you signed up with your log in information to the online HUB. You can binge or skip around but we encourage you to follow the schedule we have set up your first time through the materials. We'll release one week of training via email every Monday to keep the overwhelm down and keep you on track. Each week of camp builds on the next. You can work through camp weekly or at your own pace depending on what your body needs.

You'll learn how to stop over-stretching and simple mini moves to get out of the mindset of "all or none" with your fitness activities so you have less muscle soreness, joint stiffness, and flare-ups or injuries. You'll follow a simple self-care stretch formula to help you get more consistent with your workouts and build a strong base so you feel, move, and perform better. You'll be on the road to becoming a wellness warrior.
I'm an experienced runner. How will this help me?
It’ll help you improve your flexibility, posture, and power without over-training or putting yourself at risk for injury. 60-90% of runners get injured and 70% get re-injured. We want you to stay out of that statistic by becoming a mindful athlete. Adding stretch-care & recovery tools after your runs along with some mini moves between runs will help you get stronger and recover faster. You might even achieve a personal best at your next race with all your new tools.
WHat equipment do I need?
HIP Kit bodywork tools: To get the best results from the HIP Camp trainings and routines, you'll need access to a foam roller, massage ball, and mini hip band (what we refer to as the HIP Kit). After you sign up, we'll give you information on how to purchase the products we recommend. They usually ship within 5-7 business days. Remember you have lifetime access to HIP Camp so don't worry if you need to purchase the recommended HIP Kit bodywork tools in the future or aren't ready to upgrade your current tools. The vendor we use has regular sales throughout the year.
Other equipment: You'll need a yoga mat if do not have access to a carpeted surface to exercise and stretch on. Loose, comfortable workout clothes and being barefoot is ideal to practice the techniques.

I use a foam roller at the gym. why do I need one at home?
Unless you spend 24/7 at the gym, we want you to have your own massage tools on you at all times to manage stress, flare ups, etc. to use whether you are at home, at the office or on the road taking a trip. These tools travel easily and last a long time. The foam roller and ball we use mimic the hand and thumb of a massage therapist. It’s as close as we can come to sending our hands home with a client. The investment is worth it and you'll save money on all the massages you won't need from a therapist! If you need to wait to purchase your own foam roller, that's OK. You've got lifetime access to camp and it's full of workouts that don't require the bodywork tools.
